An event titled "Conversation with Our Living Legends," featuring academician and former athlete Prof. Dr. Salih Tuğ as a speaker, was held at our Faculty.

The event, held in the Faculty Conference Hall, was attended by academician and former athlete Prof. Dr. Salih Tuğ, our Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Fulya Topçuoplu Ünal, our Dean Prof. Dr. Çetin Özdilek, academic and administrative staff, and numerous students.

In the conversation, which began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Çetin Özdilek and was moderated by Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak, guest speaker Prof. Dr. Salih Tuğ shared anecdotes from his life, explaining how he started in sports, the sports he was involved in, what sports added to his life, and the positive effects on his health.

In the final part of the event, Prof. Dr. Tuğ answered questions from the students, and our Rector presented him with a gift in commemoration of the day.

In the second part of the event, themed around November 24th Teachers' Day, a program prepared by Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department students under the leadership of Research Assistant Cemre Nilay AKKOYUN commemorated martyred teachers with their life stories and poems as part of a performance prepared by the students. The program, which also included a Zeybek dance performance, saw students take to the stage to sing the Teachers' Anthem, and at the end of the performance, they presented flowers to the faculty members.

The program concluded with a group photo session.
